W dniu 21 kwietnia 2018 roku odbył się podczas targów Fit Weekend w Kielcach GRAND PRIX POLSKI KARATE KYOKUSHIN
Organizatorami zawodów byli Shihan Piotr Sawicki (Klub Sportowy Karate z Białegostoku) oraz sensei Ernest Miszczyk( Klub Chikara z Kielc). Wśród zaproszonych gości znaleźli się Sensei Tomasz Puzon Mistrz Ameryk Karate Kyokushin, Pan Bogdan Wenta Poseł Parlamentu Europejskiego, Pani Danuta Papaj Dyrektor Biura Poselskiego Bogdan Wenta, Pani Marianna Noworycka Gniatkowska Radna Miasta Kielce. Sędzią głównym zawodów był Shihan Piotr Sawicki. W Grand Prix Poland 2018 wzięło udział 150 uczestników ze wszystkich regionów Polski. Zawody stały na bardzo wysokim poziomie, a walki rozgrywane były na 2 matach równocześnie.

The unprecedented IKO NAKAMURA GRAND PRIX POLSKI KARATE KYOKUSHIN 2018 was held on April 21, 2018 in Kielce. The organizers of the competitions were Shihan Piotr Sawicki (Sports Club Karate from Białystok) and Mr. Ernest Miszczyk Chikara Club from Kielce. Invited guests included Mr. Tomasz Puzon American Champion Karate Kyokushin, Mr. Bogdan Wenta Envoy of the European Parliament, Mr. Danuta Papaj Director of the Bureau of Deputies Bogdan Wenta, Ms. Marianna Noworycka Gniatkowska Councilor of the City of Kielce.
The main judge of the tournament was Shihan Piotr Sawicki. The Grand Prix Poland 2018 was attended by 150 of participants from all regions of Poland. The event used two rings where the fighters fought to the best of their ability and displayed superb techniques and spirit.
